Acabamos de liberar bajo licencia GPL un pequeño script bautizado como covi (co+vi)
Covi es una utilidad para mantener bajo control los cambios realizados en archivos. Sirve tanto para programadores como para administradores de sistema.

El script basicamente automatiza el uso de RCS, haciendo trivial su uso, puesto que puedes simplemente puedes cambiar el uso de vi archivo por covi archivo

Lo puedes encontrar como paquete deb en
http://www.esplugues.net/debian
o añadiendo a tus sources.list la siguiente linea:

deb http://www.esplugues.net/debian ./

y ejecutando

apt-get install covi
